During lunch at Slatington Elementary School, Mrs. Jody Remaley observed third grader Matthew Reiter choking on his meal. She quickly rushed to his aid, performing the Heimlich Manuever and preventing the boy from suffocating. The Northern Lehigh School District recognizes Mrs. Remaley for her quick response and heroic actions. Pictured above are Mrs. Remaley with student Matthew Reiter.
